Information about the ADRF Export Review Process
Your work will be subject to the specific export review rules that are required by the data linked to your project workspace. If you have questions about your project’s export rules, please consult your project or data steward.
Export Review Process
Users can request an export through the ADRF’s export module (available on the ADRF Getting Started page that you see when first entering the ADRF). When doing so, users should follow the guidelines provided in the export module.
Note: ADRF Exports reviews typically involve a two-step process.
Primary review: This is an initial, cursory review of your documentation and exports to ensure that they do not include micro-data. A cursory review can take up to 5 business days, so please make sure you plan ahead when submitting your materials for review. A cursory review may take longer than 5 business days if the reviewer has questions or additional information is needed.
Secondary review: This is a comprehensive review performed by an approved Data Steward who has content knowledge for the data that have been permissioned to your workspace. Note: If your submission pertains to multiple data assets, the secondary review will require approval by each Data Steward before the material can be exported from the ADRF.
How to check your Export Review Status
If you submitted an export request, you can check the review status of your submission by opening the ADRF Export module in the ADRF.
Awaiting Reviewer - Your export is currently under a primary review. If any issues arise during the review, you will be notified by your reviewer. When the primary review stage is complete, the secondary reviewer(s) will be notified.
Awaiting Secondary Review - Your export is currently under a secondary review. Note: If your submission pertains to multiple data assets, it will require a review by each Data Steward before being approved.
